I'm still having fun in school. So far, so good. We've had nutrition week, we brought fruits (apples from me) and we made fruit salad. Pictures were posted on our bulletin board. I was able to dance with my classmates, twice! I like dancing to Fit Kid better than Itik Itik.

Mami and Dadi went to school the other day to get my card. I rank fourth in our class, Kuya Leal got the third spot. Teacher Chona justified it by relaying that I don't participate much during recitation. I always give the right answer, when asked. Hmm.. mami forgot to tell me I must raise my hand whenever teacher asks questions. She only told me to ask question when I don't understand something. It's ok for mom and dad though, I know they're still proud of me.

This is the first dream that I was able to share with my Mom. One time she heard me talking in my sleep saying "Look, black and white stripes!" As we were watching Mr. Magoruim's Wonder Emporium the other day, I saw he has a zebra as an assistant and told my mom it's the same animal I had in my dream. Went to my pedia last saturday for another vaccine. Dra Dane says I will only have one more and next would be scheduled next year for flu vaccine and then a booster on my 4th year. Pwede na daw akong sundan. I doubt my parents will though, I guess financially they still have a lot to make up for my sibling ;p

At age 24 months, I now stand 2' and 9" tall and weighs 16kg. I am slightly overweight as child of my size averagely weighs around 14kg or so. My mom has yet to check that with babycenter's height and weight percentile calculator ;)

My pedia advised my parents to gradually shift me from bottles to sippy cup. To which my parents excitedly obliged and bought me not one but two avent sippy cups. I'm partial with my bottles so not sure when will this happen.

So far, my mom feels I'm not experiencing any developmental delays. I may not be advancing much to be classified as "gifted" but I am your typical terrible two-year-old toddler ;p

my parents have been calling me at home from work since yesterday. usually we'll talk for five minutes just to ask me what i've been doing or have i eaten already.

Just recently, my mom asked me if she can go to the C.R. to wiwi and I said "ayaw". She pleaded again much to her suprise I streched my arms and I said, "sa-ma". It was the first time my mom heard it from me. She's just happy I can now express myself more clearly therefore she'll be able to understand me more.

The next day after our visit to Avilon's Ark, my parents were asking me about animals i saw from the zoo. As they mentioned crocodile, I said "Charlie" (he's the crocodile friend of maisy mouse), and then said "Swim" with my arms doing a freestyle action.

We went to Dra. Dani today. I had my booster shot and my dad cashed out P3k for it, whoa! I cried tons and tons of tears pero kelangan talaga. My parents made it up for me by bringing me to SM for a half-hour play at Wonderland. Mom bought me a white skirt, a couple of cute tops and a blue topsider shoes (quite a deal for P75 only!)

Milestones, hmm.. my mom taught me her name as well as dad. So sometimes, she'll ask me to call "Dadi Gary" or "Mami Kitts". I love to play pretend like i'm talking to someone over the fone or do some home cooking. Right now, I love Nemo more than Mumble. I still love Pup more than Barney. I still have two teeth but love to eat nonetheless.

I can walk more stable now, loves to jump but barely can hehe I weigh 11kgs, no weight gain since last check-up but no sign of worries from doc. I had a slight cough and cold and a slight fever (perhaps due to the vaccine).

- I love Maisy and her gang.

- I can recognize Barney and Dora. Mom just bought me some cds and just recently started watching them. I also have mickey and pluto toys that's why I'm also familiar with them :)

- Despite emails nowadays saying that there are studies which proves that baby cds are not helpful in baby's brain development, mami still think's its a great tool to for us to interact especially when its been raining and we can't go out and play.

- Points at TV if I want to watch my cds.

- Sing the local show tune of "Marimar", at the end I'll say in a high pitch voice, "Aw!"

- I can do an impression on the evil sister in Rejoice TVAD.

- I love apples. Hopefully mom will be able to do and post my SnowWhite LO soon :) Whenever I see one, fake or not, i'd like to munch on it.

- I still only have two teeth in by bottom jaw :)

- I can point out the letter "O".

- Can recognize stars and flowers.

- Can make the gesture of placing my forefinger on my lips and say "shhh" for quiet.

- Can point and shake my head when saying "No, no, no"

- Attempts to sing along and say the last words of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" line per line.

Just got my hepa A vaccine today, it was my first for my left arm. it still hurts kahit san man ako injection-an ;p

nablog ko na ba na my favorite word right now is "ayaw" or "ayaw ko" i now weight 10.2kgs, initially sabi ni dra maputla daw ako, pero after thorough check, ok naman daw pala. she asked my mom about my weight gain kasi maliit nga, but i guess nothing to worry as long as hindi naman ako nagkakasakit. sobrang likot ko na rin kasi :D will be back next month, haay MMR nman daw.

i think my mom needs to buy me a new book, nakakabisa ko na ung mga books ko.

i keep pestering my mom to update my blog, she's just too busy, hmpf. anyways, 13months and 3weeks i have a couple of new antics. i love this particular yougart jelly that i always seem to make excuse to anyone just to open the ref for me and grab one. or i would play around with caps and bottles refusing to close the ref's door. also, i would walk and walk and walk around from sala to the kitchen and back. should someone say to me, "ano ka bang bata ka, kanina ka pa paikot-ikot jan, i will literally twirl around *lol* i have perfected the action song, "if you're happy and you know it" and currently practicing "head, shoulders, knees and toes" i seem to like jollibee and clueless who ronald is, i've yet to eat there ;) current favorite food includes anything with sabaw :D

I have already taken my first steps, well, a couple of weeks ago. My mom as usual forgot to blog about it and forgot the exact date :p

i can now immitate the following sounds:

cow - mooo
bird - twit twit
lizard - tsk tsk tsk *tongue clicking*
dog - awaw
duck - quack (but not as clearly as it should be)

still learning the sound of snake, bee and more!

i always like saying dede, dadi, papa (eat) and pap (papi her stuff toy), bata, baby, mama.

ask me how old i am and i will stick out my index finger for one :D i can also "pray". give me fruits any time of the day and i'll eagerly munch on it, more like gum on it. papaya, pear, apple, mango.. you name it, i'll eat it :D mom bought me this cool veggie juice and lovin it so far. yogurt is another fave. still no pearly whites though. my motto hasn't changed a bit, early to rise, early to bed. you'll hear my zzz's by 7pm the latest and will give you a morning kiss as early as 4am :D

barely a month to go, i'll be celebrating my 1st birthday and yes, finally my mom is now on high gear with our preps! she will be posting some updates on her blog if you want to know our status :D

maybe i'll be a drama queen someday, say the magic word "iyak" and i'll do a short cry baby face :D say the magic word "tawa" and i'll let out a chuckle or two :D

did i mention already that i can now clap my hands, send you a flying kiss (which doesn't actually fly since my hands always get stuck in my mouth everytime single time, lol) and also for my elders, i can now reach for your hand and touch it on my forehead, the "bless" gesture if there's any other term for it :D

yesterday, we went to celebrate macy's 3rd birthday. She's my mom's officemate's child. yes, i'm gonna burn the dance floor :) sing a song and i'll bump bump bump :) i hope my parents will have our cam fixed soon so i can post new photos. i'll soon be 9mos old and ma's getting all riled up planning for my bithday. as far as i know, venue has already been picked, mag DP na lang sa sweldo. mom's still playing with various themes. dad has a disapproving look on his face seeing how much it'll cost them hehe. as of now, i'm just happy to be eight and dance to boom tarat tarat :)

Well baby checkup and Milestone summary

I am now weighing 8.8kg from 8.4kgs and streches at 70cm from 67cm :) baseline from nov25 checkup. i also had my left ear pierced (again! tinanggal ni mami agad the first time kasi mas mataas sa kanan). All is well as expected :)

i can now crawl and push myself to a standing position while holding on to something or someone :) i may take wall climbing someday :) i can say ba-ba, pa-pa, a-te and other weird sounds but i've yet to learn ma-ma. i can now express when i want to cuddle up with my parents, give them a wet gummy kiss, and boy can i fake cries to get attention! i get restless when i'm in an unfamiliar place or house and already have stranger anxiety. i whine a LOT when i'm being held by someone i'm not familiar with. i am also mastering my pincer grip and can pinch anything i can put my fingers on but i particulary love necks :) i also love to "walk" with someone holding onto my armpits. i've yet to use a walker though, might try my push toy one of these days.

i've already tasted a variety of solid food to which sometimes i choke on (mama kasi eh masyado excited magpakain). papaya, mangoes, ponkanitas (i know no citrus until age 1 but kulit tlaga nila), watermelon, grapes, apple, banana, cheese (bawal pa din pala to!), carrot, egg yolk, potato, ube, fish, beef and veggies (nestle stage 2), cooked pasta and rice. no chocolates, softdrinks and junkfoods, yey!

i can also feed myself a cracker :) not a single pearly white in sight and i think they're not coming out yet. i look up and search for bulb lights when asked "where's the light", do "close-open". i love peekaboo :D i hope i can learn to wave goodbye and do "beautiful eyes" soon.

yup, wasn't feeling great the whole week. started as colds then i'm coughing and weezing. turns out i might have asthma, but we'll see. had my checkup yesterday, it was the worst day so far. my parents had to go on leave. i can't play and needed to be carried most if not all the time. good news is, i feel like playing today. we'll go back tomorrow for a followup checkup *sigh*

I fell off from our bed down the floor today. my mom kasi fell asleep while on duty eh ang likot ko pa naman. i was near the edge of our bed and when i tried to rollover to my right, ayun nagdive ako, head first. they didn't allow me to sleep for about 3hours. i have a small bump on my forehead and a slight heart attack for my dad from the incident. other than that, we're ok.

went to dra dane last saturday. had my hpv shot#3. i now weigh 8.4k and stretches at 67cm. look closely and see what's new with me :) hopefully strangers can now easily tell that i'm a girl :)

also, i'll be changing my milk from s26 gold to promil gold. i'm due to return by first week of january for a well baby checkup. then my first flu shot on feb.. i hope next time my mom can upload a video of me wriggling my way around our bed. hopefully soon, i can sit straight and really start crawling. btw, my pedia is against me using a walker. so i guess they're stuck with carrying me for the next few months ;)

that's the reason i've been feeling cranky and irate for the past few days already. i have to carried all day long, my moms arms must've ached hehe. akala ni mami nahawa nya lang ako sa ubo't sipon nya but after 3 days with fever going up and down, my lola and lolo decided that we go see the nearest doctor. as of this writing, i no longer have fever but still taking antibiotics 4x a day, cough and cold syrup twice and thrice a day. rashes are starting to clear also.

my dad worries more than my mom but i love them both for taking care of me while i was sick.

by the way, i've had two blood test just to monitor my palette count. my parents now know that my blood type is O+ same as my dad's. cool coz i get to be a universal donor :)

Went to dra. dane today. I now weigh 7.8kgs with 66cm (25.98") length. today is my last polio shot, for now. I cried once, my mom was so proud of me. She said I'm a very brave baby girl.

Well Baby Check Up - 3 mos

went to dra dane today :) i now weigh 7kgs and stretches 62cm. had my DTP, IVP and HIB 2nd shot today. I cried of course but no longer than 5mins. Was prescribe to take PedZinc instead of PedCee as additional vitamins. I'm currently taking Cherifer Drops in hopes that my genes will not get the better of me. I know, i know my parents are not hobbits but height does have its advantages so there, shoot me for wanting extra inches as early as now haha. will be back by Oct 7.

went to joaqin's bday at shakeys valero themed "sponge bob". of course dad forgot the camera inside the car so no photos there. managed to win in one "bring me" task, luckily i'm wearing pink socks, yey! went home with a spongebob mug holding various chocos and candies inside.

after the party, we went to visit lola tess. heard she was sick and wont be able to take care of me, meaning extended stay in nova for us. she gave tons of dress and stuff toys way bigger than me :D

The other day, I showed lola that I can roll over one way from right to left. This morning daddy watched me as I did my trick again but helped me with my arm which got stuck under me :) Mami was so busy ironing dad's clothes and wasn't able to see me. Will try to show her tomorrow. I love weekends, more playtime with my parents, yey!
